Enable Timesheet for projects
Not every project will need time tracking, so you can enable it as needed on new projects:
For existing projects, go to Project Details and flip the switch to turn it on:
Tracking your time
Anyone on the project can track their hours by clicking the green timer. Track time for the entire project, or individual items, like to-dos, events, and more. All tracked time is totaled on the project badge, and you can view all the Timesheet entries for the project under the three-dot menu.
NOTE: Timesheets are not viewable by clients.
You can track your time from the project screen:
Or from within project tools:
When viewing time tracking on a specific post, the badge shows how much time has accumulated for that post.
Time can be entered in decimal or hh:mm format - 1.5 and 1:30 will both get you one and a half hours.
Timesheet reports
If you need a report of time tracked, head to Activity › Timesheets. Here you can view and filter timesheets across the account, and export the results as a CSV file. It's a great way to collect hours for the last month to send to a client, or tally up totals for a person on a specific project.
From here, you can get an overview of time spent on all projects with Timesheets:
Or apply filters to see just the tracked time you need. You can filter by person, project, or date range:
If you need a more narrow view, you can break that report down to each individual task or project by heading to See the timesheet in the ••• menu on the top right. Here you can also delete and edit any entries, or create a new one:
Timesheet on mobile
Time tracking is available on mobile, too. Just hit See the timesheet in the ••• menu and you'll be able to do it all from your mobile device.
Like on desktop, you can add time, edit or delete time, or filter the reports:
To remove Timesheet, head to Adminland > Handle billing, invoices, packages, and upgrades > See your options > Remove > Confirm removal
