Basecamp Desktop PWA (Progressive Web App)

PWAs (progressive web apps) allow you to add a website to your desktop, much like a native app. You can pull Basecamp out of your browser tabs and into its own application, without installing anything new! The PWA will retain your login information and notification preferences for that browser.

Chrome (Mac and Windows)

Log into your Basecamp account in a Chrome browser and click the 'Installation' icon in the URL bar:

Safari (Mac)

Log into your Basecamp account in a Safari browser, go to the File menu, and select Add to Dock:

🗒️ NOTE: If you want your notifications to show up in the icon badge, be aware that you'll need to have "Show the number of unread items" checked in your notification settings.

Edge (Windows)

Log into your Basecamp account in an Edge browser, select the More options menu "•••" located on the top-right corner of the browser, click Apps, and select Install Basecamp:

Copy Page URL

Our support team may ask for the URL of your account or page. Here's how to grab that from your PWA:

Chrome

Click the More options menu "" at the top right of the app, then click Copy URL.
