Basecamp Desktop PWA (Progressive Web App)

PWAs (progressive web apps) allow you to add a website to your desktop, much like a native app. You can pull Basecamp out of your browser tabs and into its own application, without installing anything new! The PWA will retain your login information and notification preferences for that browser.

Chrome (Mac and Windows)

When viewing your Basecamp account in Chrome, click the Download icon in the URL bar:

Safari (Mac)

When viewing your Basecamp account in Safari, go to the File menu, then select Add to Dock:

If you want your notifications to show up in the icon badge, be aware that you'll need to have "Show the number of unread items" checked in your notification settings.

Edge (Windows)

When viewing your Basecamp account in Edge, select its options menu, then Apps, then 'Install this site as an app'

Copy Page URL

Our support team may ask for the URL of your account or page. Here's how to grab that from your PWA:

Chrome

Click the Options menu at the top right of the app, then click Copy URL.
