Basecamp for Free is the only plan you can sign up for right now that is free forever! It is limited to 1 project, 1 GB of file storage and 100 users (including clients and outsiders).

Using your Free Project
Basecamp for Free includes one free Project, which includes all the Project tools. The free plan also includes Pings so you can chat privately with users on your account.
- To attach files, use the paper clip 📎 icon. Drag-and-drop for files is disabled in Free accounts.
- The public links feature and account upgrades are not available on Free accounts.
Upgrade your Free account
Upgrading your account is easy. Just use the Upgrade to add another project button and you'll be taken to the page where you can choose a plan:
